that through its ePASS® Business Center, brokers have instant
access to over 200 of the leading the lenders in the country. Ellie
Mae's ePASS Business Center is the industry standard Internet transaction
platform, connecting originators to lenders and settlement service
providers. The partnerships provide Ellie Mae ePASS Business Center
users with direct connections to submit loans online loan and give
partnering lenders the ability to connect to mortgage professionals,
accounting for the majority of all loans originated industry wide.
Ellie Mae enables it's partnering lenders to reach more than 80
percent of the mortgage originator population through ePASS. Genesis 2000® and Contour users have direct access to ePASS through their
loan origination software. Calyx® Point® users can take advantage
of Ellie Mae's 'Point EZ Import', a new function that allows Calyx
users to seamlessly and instantly connect their loan files to the
ePASS Business Center and transfer files and data easily to lenders.
Lenders can also incorporate their wholesale Web sites into the
ePASS network through branded Storefronts and instantly increase
the ease of doing business with them. The Storefront is the lender's
page within the LOS where all of their wholesale or correspondent
Web site transactional and informational capabilities are accessed.
For mortgage originators, the partnerships enable seamless uploading
of information directly from ePASS into the lenders' systems in seconds,
reducing redundant data entry and complicated loan file transfers.
ePASS applies its patent-pending, three-click loan data upload process
to all functions an originator uses with a lender, including common
transactions like automated underwriting, registration, pricing eligibility,
and locking, This feature alone saves originators 10-20 minutes per
function and reduces the 20-click by up to 17 clicks.
